Process Engineer Commissioning and Qualification

Are you ready to kick start a new production site for the COVID-19 vaccine? Experienced (GMP) Process Engineer and ready for your next project? Then read on to see if this role is a match for you.

Our client is based in the Wuppertal area, Germany, but to your liking you may work homebased most of the time. A GMP production site is being reconstructed at this moment to get ready ASAP for the production of COVID-19 vaccines. At this stage, the USP and DSP equipment have been selected. As Process Engineer you will work closely with the Manufacturing Site Director on the following;

  • Design and coordinate the executing of connecting the selected USP and DSP equipment.
  • Design the single use manifolds to connect this single use facility together.
  • Point of contact for the vendors and cooperate with them in the design.
  • Where possible: shorten the lead times on the manifolds.

Your input as Process engineer is viable and critical in the time schedule.

Job requirements

In order to be successful in this project you need to bring the following:

  • Experience as an Engineer in an Upstream and or Downstream GMP environment.
  • Relevant Bachelor of Master degree in Process Management, Chemical or Biological Engineering.
  • Experience in working on multitask projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in cooperating with vendors in English. German is a plus.

We offer you a long term project in with the option to extend and be part of the whole process of the start up such as FAT, SAT, IO, OQ, PQ and PV’s.

We area open to both consultants and engineering that would prefer a employment contract (for a definite period). Please note that in order to qualify you need to be a EU of UK citizen or have a valid working permit for at least the next year. The project is in Germany but may be done 90% home based.
