Manager QA Operations

Our client is a biopharmaceutical production company, specialized in the production of human vaccines. Based in Amsterdam, producing for worldwide distribution. The QA department is split into a general Quality and QA production part. For the last division, with focus on operations, we are looking for a new Manager. As the manager you:

• Coach, manage and lead a team of about 12 experienced Quality Assurance specialists;
• Manage the QA oversight of operational activities on site and report in management meetings;
• Take responsibility for Quality related issues, take critical decisions and assure timely review and disposition of production batches;
• Oversee and manage Quality processes, actively work together with other departments and clients and take responsibility for planning and organizing.

What makes this role stand out from other positions is that you will work with different biopharmaceutical products every time. Often newly developed and produced with the newest techniques such as mNRA. You will be on top of the market in this role.

• Master degree (or work thinking level) in Pharmacy, biotechnology, biology or related;
• Experienced in a Quality related role (in QA or Operations) with managerial skills and experience;
• You are a trustworthy coach for your team and can advise from bottom to top, as well on QA as on other work related matters;
• As a person you are action orientated: you think in possibilities instead of what’s impossible. You are strong in decision-making, building relationships and problem solving;
