OT Security & Automation Engineer

Are you ready to be at the forefront of Operational Technology (OT) and cybersecurity? As an OT Security & Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing security, compliance, and automation within a cutting-edge Life Sciences environment. You will work with the latest automation production technologies, ensuring robust system performance and compliance with industry standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure and maintain compliance with OT-Security directives and industry best practices.

• Manage architectural and configuration documentation, including firewall and security interfaces.

• Lead system updates, patches, and new automation integrations in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Oversee user administration, disaster recovery, and life-cycle management for critical GxP systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement and validation projects.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Process Automation, or a related technical field.

• Expertise in process automation systems (Emerson DeltaV and/or Siemens PCS7).

• Strong understanding of OT/IT networks and security protocols.

• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISPE GAMP5 and experience with Computerized Systems Validation.

• Project management certification (IPMA, PMI, or equivalent) is a plus.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or German is a plus.

• Valid work permit and residency in The Netherlands.
