Field Engineer Turbo Controls

As Field Engineer you will become responsible to install, troubleshoot, operate and configure control systems at customer sites. Usually within the EU but you may also assist worldwide, on and off shore.

Your tasks include;

• Pre-commissioning system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing.
• Test and tune including machinery testing, control loop tuning and troubleshooting
• Remote technical support, systems engineering support and troubleshooting
• Customer training
• Collaborate with departments cross functionally to support the entire Lifecycle of products and customer experience.

You will work 150 – 200 days per year at customer sites. Projects are usually 1 -5 weeks. The rests of the time you will work hybrid either from home or the office in the Schiphol area.

In order to qualify for this exciting opportunity you need the following qualifications;

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical etc).
• Proficiency in computers and networking. PC and PLC Programming skills are a plus.
• A flexible attitude, you can easily adjust when urgent matters or projects come up.
• Strong communication skills in English. Other languages (Dutch, German, French) are a plus.
• Previous work experience with turbo machinery control systems and Process control is nice to have but willing to learn is much more important to us.
